[Poll] Best NuBit abbreviations

Which set of currency abbreviations do you prefer for US NuBits, Chinese NuBits, European NuBits and SDR NuBits?

  • US-NBT, CN-NBT, EU-NBT and X-NBT
  • NBU, NBC, NBE, NBX

This follows up on @Financisto’s recent suggestion.

NBT-US, NBT-CN, NBT-EU, NBT-X

this way it looks more like a family instead of different projects, and it is easier to sort

I think NBU, NBC, NBE, NBX are difficult to understand and as @Cybnate said lack our brand recognition.

I’d like to evaluate @irritant’s idea with NBT‑US (‑CN, ‑EU, ‑X).

While the logos we already have would need to be changed, I think reversing them like this would make more sense. The reason is because since all of them would now start with NBT, any alphabetical list of currencies on an exchange would have all NBT currencies grouped closely together, rather than separate as they would be if US, CN, EU, X all came first.

What does @tomjoad think of this?

He’s not been seen on the forum since July 5, unfortunately.

It has some market appeal on exchanges to have them grouped. However I believe it doesn’t look great as individual currency denominators.

I also agree with you about the alphabetical order.

“NBT + country code” makes more sense than “country code + NBT” even for marketing reasons.

edit:

BTW 3rd option required for this pool as suggestion provided by @irritant:

NBT-US, NBT-CN, NBT-EU, NBT-X

@Phoenix is it possible to add it above?
