This account will be conducting NSR buybacks in accordance with this motion. Each buyback week a new thread will be created for shareholders to monitor. At the conclusion of the week the final results will be posted here along with a confirmation link showing the NSR burn. The thread will then be locked.
The only goal of this account is to purchase as many NSR as possible each buyback week to be destroyed using the funds provided by shareholders. A successful NSR burn will result in all shareholders attaining a larger equity percentage of the Nu network than they held before the NSR burn.
If you would like to sell us your personal NSR for less than 70% of the market price each week, send a bitmessage to BM-2cVFzzfWwKkdxLmgZwhSFfGmKwqDrddDfv to negotiate a deal.
Just for the record:
due to @ttutdxh’s latest improvements of the Cointoolkit , the FLOT was able to sign a transaction and send the funds as requested at record speed (the transaction was sent roughly 6 hours ago).
We have completed our purchase of 39.9 BTC worth of NSR. We are pleased that we were able to purchase approximately 4,019,004 NSR for burning this week. 2,349,997 NSR have been withdrawn and the remainder will be withdrawn within 48 hours. We will provide transaction details of the NSR burn on Saturday or Sunday, similar to previous buybacks.
Approximately 39.57 BTC worth of NSR was purchased at 90% of market on Wednesday, and the remaining 0.33 BTC was sold within seconds today, at 100% of market price (0.00001085 BTC).
As with last week, the buyback was largely completed on Wednesday. This is great news for shareholders, who have repurchased NSR at a meaningful discount to the market price. The rising price of BTC has increased our buyback power, and it seems shareholders are selling at a discount to ensure they complete the sale.
Shareholders should probably calculate this metric themselves according to their view of the NSR supply. We’re not sure what the correct figure would be, because the NSR supply is continually inflating with the 40 NSR block reward. The only irrefutable historical number is the number of NSR burned each week.
