FLOT BTC Operations (buy side)

Ok, will do. 1% Spread after Fees (SAF) will result in a spread from the NBT/BTC rate of 1.3% (including 0.15% fees on either side) assuming we are only charged maker fees on Poloniex.
I’m not entirely convinced that would make a difference as I have argued before that a 0.7% SAF should be sufficient to prevent most LP clashes. But given the current situation of all or nothing I will set it on 1% SAF. We really need something on the buy side right now.

Edit: spread will be updated for both Poloniex and Bittrex to 1% SAF (1.3% spread) in next 5 minute cycle. Will be away from computer for next 10-12h.

Ok. Sorry. I was offline.
Which tx should I sign?

Please post the txs signed by you.
I am ok with replenishing the buy sides gradually as advocated by @mhps .
@masterOfDisaster is not responsive.
We should focus on @zoro and @Cybnate s gateways.

PS: sorry for the delay.

You should sign the one to @Cybnate. If @dysconnect give you his signed tx, sign and broadcast immediately. Before he gives, please sign the @Cybnate one by @jooize here. then post it here as another 4 of 5/8 besides @dysconnect’s for redundancy

5 BTC to @zoro and 5 BTC to @Cybnate

Verified and signed, 4 of 5-8.

Let’s watch what happens on Polo nbt/btc

Fund at 1% SAF bought in minutes.

mid price on polo now is 3% lower than feed price.

@zoro’s 5% line seems intact.

@Cybnate what is the T2/T1 ratio on your gateway? can you post a log?

There are ~3500 nbt sitting between feed price and feed*0.993.
@masterOfDisaster, your gateway is inactive? By any chance you have fund with negative offset ?

I’m convinced NuLaw demands FLOT to send remaining Tier 4 funds to NuLagoon Tube.

Why not poloniex? Isn’t it better to have it there, where everyone gets a chance to see it?

Terrible Idea I’m not signing this, funds will be sold away within the hour and the peg will go into free float mode. I’ll state again a weakened peg is far more desirable then no peg at all.

My proposal would be to put 15.7 BTC up at 5% offset 7 BTC at 2.5/3% offset and 3 BTC at 1.5% offset.

Suggestion to the plan:

  1. Begin selling NSR asap, and ask for another NSR grant.
  2. Selling NSR for NBT on exchange or auction.
  3. Holding on the BTC TX to NuLagoon until #2 begin.

Reason:
We need a strike instead of continous and gentle work to restart the engine. Creating a moment NBT can be sold in large volume for what ever you like in NSR and BTC. When people see exit door widely opened, they are more likely to stay a while more.

But isn’t it against passed motions? See this.

Or can we use discretion to adapt to the situation?

I don’t see any rule that enforces us to use all funds available at a 1% spread. And even if there was such a motion if it leads to suicide should we follow it? This is not a time we can afford to be careless with funds.

I agree every rule is subject to interpretation.
The motion does mention:

==
So it further leaves room for some adjustment.
Therefore I am fine with your decision not to sign.

We just set the offset of the Tube to ±5%. Now we suggest FLOT contintue to sign the TX. It is better to put remaining BTC on Tube buy side at 5% spread than sitting on T4.

Let those pessimists who believe NBT won’t worth $0.95 exit first (with $0.5/NBT lost). If BTC can stay there a while, at least there is a message that over 60k NBT holders beleive NBT will worth more than $0.95.

But the most important is begin NSR selling asap! Buy side won’t stay long at any large spread if there is no other NBT exit provided. Urgent!

Tube will lower the spread when NBT buyback begin.

EDIT: I signed for 5% offset but it was changed to 2.5%. proceed with caution

EDIT: please sign Dhume’s proposed transaction below
