In the spirit of The Winston Fund, I’d like to make the community a personal offer.

If you’ve never read the novel 1984, by George Orwell, and you are interested in reading it, be among the first 8 people to PM me your mailing address and I will send you a copy free of charge.

While not required, if you would like to post a short essay about your thoughts on the book, after reading it, I would greatly appreciate it. I’ll even tip you 5 NBT for this. If you choose to, please post your essay in this thread.

If everyone enjoys this, I may consider future give-aways.

What the hell! The 5 NBT tip is still available to essay writers who may happen to be wrapped in tin foil, but I’m going to limit this to 10 people.
