[Passed] Running Nubits-Seeder on the anton.coinerella.com server

Hey there,

the current terms of this grant require me to run no software other than a NuDroid compatible trusted server on the machine rented for anton.coinerella.com.

Currently, server load is very low (avg ~ 0.2) and I see no reason why even a user increase of 1000% would increase this load avg number very much.

Quick reminder of the server specs:

-8 core CPU
-16 GB ram
-800 GB HDD with SSD cache (hybrid)

Given this fact, I would like to add the NuBits DNS seeder to Anton’s service list.

This motion permits @willy to run a nubits-seeder instance on the server rented for anton.coinerella.com.

Anton is the server. That’s it’s name.
I didn’t chose the name, the server chose it for itself.

No objections.

No DNS-server related risks any more. cf-php uses Cloudflare’s DNS servers

I respect that you take the grant literally. I was about replying the same you replied to @cryptog.
But I think there is some grey area with this particular service.
I mean, you are running DNS, DHCP, SSH (and lots of more services on it as well). These are required for the server to be a NuDroid server.
One could argue that the NuSeed DNS server helps the server being a better NuDroid server.

I think it’s necessary to put this up for discussion.
But if nobody raises any objections in several days, I think the NuSeed function can be enabled.

Any active voter needs to find the motion and agree with it to vote for it.
So any active voter can find this thread and raise objections.

Like I said: grey area…
