Topic headings

At the moment, the Forum displays on its homepage the three most recent topic headings for each category - is it possible to extend this to six or eight?

Not that I know of, but I’ll take a look in the settings. The “latest” section is the way I usually go, but I can see the benefit of having the major categories show more.

The main reason why I’d agree with expanding it is because the pinned sticky threads are displayed before anything else. So for certain boards it’s hard to tell if anything new has been posted since I mainly see the sticky threads. The best way to see new posts at least right now would be to click on latest, rather than categories.

Was it ever determined whether we can expand the amount of threads shown for each category? As I stated in my previous post, it’s impossible to see the latest threads on certain categories because it shows the stickied threads before regular ones. Currently, if there are 3 sticky threads in a category or more, then the latest threads with new posts in them will never be shown unless you click on the category itself to expand it.

It fell off the radar, unfortunately. If I get a chance tomorrow, I’ll see if I can up the number. I’m pretty sure it will require back-end modifications (not something that is impossible, just probably outside of the current set of priority work that needs to be done).
