I intend to make myself available as a signer on B&C Exchange. I’m currently a member of Nu’s FLOT and have some roots in Peercoin. You should be aware I’m public with who I am, and the potential risks with that.
I’ll run on a VPS. I believe I am competent in safe handling of keys and backups, and will model my workflow before proceeding with publishing my production signer identity (BlockShares public key). I won’t rush through that, so I may not be online among the first signers.
VPS provider alternatives are being explored, but I have one in mind that seems suitable. Bitcoin’s blockchain is currently ~62 GB. 4 GB RAM should suffice. Anything else I should consider? I have assumed CPU won’t be a concern.
Regarding future coins on BCE, I will sign for Peercoin if shareholders make it available. I do not at this time commit to additional assets or currencies.
