Please quantify “success”. I’m looking for days successfully operated divided by total days (like 30). I know we’ve held your feet to the fire, but this is our most expensive operation. Are you operating 90% of the time? 99%? 30%? You had issues this month, no?

Some word on regulations:

The funds placed at Tier 1 will be 10% of the total fund or more.

This probably needs to be changed to favor traditional exchanges; if 10% of funds are placed on Poloniex there should be around 8k total liquidity instead of 4k.

The balancing target for both funds on exchanges (Tier1 and Tier2) and off exchanges (Tier3) is the network-wide buy/sell liquidity ratio.

I’ve found this a little bit odd - e.g. when the sell side is low, this tells NuLagoon not to put too much money in the sell side. In order to fully utilize NuLagoon we should regulate it to put more funds on a side that is low.

Also, if only about 20% is going to be on exchanges and NAV is ~1.42 in about one year, the interest rate can be reduced by at least 1% per month.

Some can be carried out before a motion is passed. For instance the fund targets are lower bounds, so NuLagoon can (and should) put more funds on Polo especially in these times. The balancing target is trickier to deal with but we can just increase the overall funds level.

Can we get a record of every NuLagoon rebalance on poloniex over this month? At twice a week, that should only be 8 rebalances. Shouldn’t be too hard to show for us.

Adding to my datafeed. Like to see some of the requested reporting (as above) and more focus on Poloniex and some on Bittrex. Also interested in supporting motions to adjust NuLagoon’s terms going forward.

Personally, even though i have some funds in nu lagoon i am not happy with its support in Poloniex. I consider this fee only for the tube service which is great. If the amount of 4760NBT is too expensive for the tube, we have to reconsider the fee.

There’s not so much visible except for the Tube (which is great!) and from the Tube NuLagoon can earn money from the spread (unless when making deals with Nu, because the fees get waived).

Maybe it’s just time to show Nu what it gets for all the money?
The Poloniex liquidity situation would be in a bad shape if not for some bot operators…

I’ll join the chorus of people asking for more details. This is a large monthly expense for our network and we deserve accurate, timely, and comprehensive reporting.

It leaves the aftertaste that Nu pays thousands per month for a few thousand of liquidity at Poloniex (~$4,000; $2k T1, $2k T2) and hitBTC (~$2,000; $0 T1; $2kT2) combined (~$6,000).
And of course for NuLagoon Tube, but that is something you want to earn money from the spread, right?

What I’m trying to say is:
would Nu instead of continuing the contract with NuLagoon risk the $6,000 for two months and pay @zoro, @Nagalim, @Cybnate and me a few hundred NBT for running NuBots/PyBot, that would save Nu each month thousands of USD.
…admittedly only after two succesful months of operation in which of course the Nu funds are at risk.
Still - break even at month three. Sounds intriguing…

The real “problem” with NU lagoon is that we don’t know for sure if it deserves the fee.
There isn’t some metric or a frequent report with any kind of problem or provided services.
Now, consider the below self-destructive scenario for NU: (something i don’t want to believe)
“NSR holders investing heavily in NU lagoon’s pools and then they are willing to vote for any “high” fee in order
to protect their profits. Without any insurance that their money (investment) are indeed used to add value in NU.”
@henry, have you consider above scenario and how can you defense against that possibility?

NuLagoon’s fund placed at Poloniex is increased to more than 10k now.
Just a kind reminder that NuLagoon’s liquidity operation is totally counterparty risk free for NuShareholders, as NuShareholders won’t loss a cent of money if any exchange default events occurs.

Please contrast this with ALPs, where the same is true (hint: consistency of provided liquidity is your friend, which is our biggest concern). Also, statistics please.

But I would like to know how much liquidity you provided during the month and compare that to the fee.

In other words, how cost effective is Nu Lagoon is a very important question.

We need information to make a judgement.
