Hi Guys,
Just an idea I’d like to float here. Please feel free to shoot it down. I was thinking that since NuBits basically is a token and it has a stable value, then why can’t we just sell it for a small premium via in-App purchases in the Google Play Store?

For applications and in-app products that you sell on Google Play, the transaction fee is equivalent to 30% of the price.
You receive 70% of the payment. The remaining 30% goes to the distribution partner and operating fees.

There’s also chargebacks.
I would love it if possible! Any way around these issues?
Additionally I wonder who would handle the funds.
Idk, I really have no experience with selling apps on the Play Store.
Maybe you could get the funds displayed on your NuDroid wallet, but only be able to use it after the refund period is over (15 minutes).
It’s not really economic, but would be a nice gimmick for loading smaller amounts on your wallet when you have time pressure.

I was thinking credit card chargebacks, not store refunds.
It would be nice. 30% seems a lot, though.

That can be solved with custodians

I believe that is a showstopper unfortunately.
Yes, custodians with a small fee.
30% markup could still be useful when it’s a quick fix (pay for a beer) and small sums involved.

A very good idea but
Google should have to change its policy and fees if cryptos are to be sold as tokens via their store.
