it is what i am writing in all the forums about BTC. as long as its blockchain is used by other apps, it will always have value expressed via bitcoin (currency-asset).
people don’t care how “faulty” or “bad” is a currency as long as it is “useful” and have “value” 
From this aspect, the currency btc may not be used as such, but its technology gaining great value as time goes by (mostly due to third party apps).
