Interesting to see the transfer fees in the FED system. That is just what Nu is missing when funds are on the exchanges. The exchanges grab the fees. At least JordanLee had the foresight to build a decentralised exchange which exactly does what those early FED wires do. The only change is that the B&C AND the blockchain fee will apply. This raises the question whether B&C can be competitive enough against centralised exchanges with counter-party risks (basically acting like a bank).
As a B&C shareholder I think this will become true eventually, but requires a few more exchanges to fail or to be hacked in the not too distant future. Some might be smart and start providing insurances (like banks do) but that will increase the costs. A cost B&C won’t have.
