While the number of NSR we purchase each day will vary considerably over time, we can say that if this number of NSR were purchased each day, we would have around 4.5% fewer NuShares in circulation after one year. It is a substantial buyback rate.
We can say that at the moment, the inflation rate of NSR is -4.5%. Truly deflationary. Sometimes people say Bitcoin is deflationary, but actually it isn’t, though the rate of inflation does decrease over time. Is anyone aware of another crypto asset that is truly deflationary like NuShares are at this time? We may be the only ones with such an attractive offering, though I’m not sure.
