Yes, it is used for NuDroid and basically only reports NBT transactions.
Noticed a few days ago that there is an issue with the database. I can’t resolve this one and asked for help. Will let the forum know when the issue is resolved.
That looks like a computational error with the explorer, rather than something amiss in the blockchain (going by what I’m seeing in @backpacker’s replica).
I wonder if blockexplorer.nu was on a different chain at some point way in the past (now reconsiled) that didn’t get flushed from the database. The address in question appears to be missing the early transactions that funded it with the ~2.5M NSR.
the way nuexplorer software gets blocks into database is not very reliable during high orphanage periods, that’s true. it misses a lot of blocks that have to be reinserted into the database almost by hand.
