Addresses with negative balances Bug of nuexplorer?

This address on the explorer
http://blockexplorer.nu/address/SPXQckQkY9q6QEHK3Gr4CN1JKhfvWxH5Fr/1/newest
shows negative balance and it is mintng

these 2 explorers says the address doesn’t exist, which is false as can verify it’s minting:

https://svr1.nubitsexplorer.nu/address/SSvFUpNVgda9pXqW4SKfA21YgKHbGo5iVb
http://explorer.coinpayments.net/index.php?chain=17

I have problem accessing http://blockexplorer.ddns.net so I don’t know if there s any difference.

similar addresses are

first things first, svr1.nubitsexplorer.nu is stuck on block 919283 (14 Jun 2016, 22:11:51) so i can’t use that for verification of recent data. i wonder what else it’s used for.

addresses you have specified are all positive on my replica of the explorer that is always available at:

http://nuexplorer.ddns.net/address/SPXQckQkY9q6QEHK3Gr4CN1JKhfvWxH5Fr/1/newest

@cybnate… Nudroid?

#4

Yes, it is used for NuDroid and basically only reports NBT transactions.
Noticed a few days ago that there is an issue with the database. I can’t resolve this one and asked for help. Will let the forum know when the issue is resolved.

That looks like a computational error with the explorer, rather than something amiss in the blockchain (going by what I’m seeing in @backpacker’s replica).

I wonder if blockexplorer.nu was on a different chain at some point way in the past (now reconsiled) that didn’t get flushed from the database. The address in question appears to be missing the early transactions that funded it with the ~2.5M NSR.

@JetJet13: Any speculation as to what happened?

the way nuexplorer software gets blocks into database is not very reliable during high orphanage periods, that’s true. it misses a lot of blocks that have to be reinserted into the database almost by hand.

This address has a negative balance probably because the explorer doesn’t count mint reward into “Total Received” http://blockexplorer.nu/address/Sk3KtaM1ysgjW1xXHs3cTZsVKBKQF1QNVy/1/newest
