The repurchased NSR are currently kept. I will aim to burn held NuShares in excess of 250,000,000 NSR. It’s important that we have an amount available in case of a heavy decline in NuBit demand.

The current number of circulating US NuBits is now 1,155,505, more than double what it was at the last calculation five days ago! This is an all time high for the number of NuBits in circulation, proving Nu can overcome significant setbacks and continue to grow to make new records in our market share. The NSR market cap, at $2 million, is now back where it was just before the devastating multi-sig signer misconduct in May 2016.

While an exact calculation will be completed in the coming days, I can estimate that daily NSR buybacks will be increased from the current amount of $2067 to around $7000 at the next weekly calculation, if nothing changes materially, such as the number of NuBits in circulation or the Bitcoin price. That is a lot of NSR that will be purchased in the open market every day!
