Thanks guys! A flawless transaction in less than a day! (less than 12 hours actually)
Until next time then

With the recent FLOT activities NSR holders might get used to the speed with that FLOT is able to do its job.
The limited availability of a single FLOT member might play a role - especially if it’s for a prolongued period of time.

It was necessary to report that and I’m bound to do so by terms:

I’m not sure my absence will cause such an exception. But it could be. We’ll see.
What I’m quite confident about is that I will have only little time for activity in the forum and that I will need several hours to respond to signing requests at minimum.

The rising BTC price drained the buy side on Poloniex.
I sense severe danger for the peg.
I started the buy side gateway, which needs a decent deposit.
Considering that we deposited 30,000 NBT on Friday, when BTC crashed, we might require several dozens BTC, at least 60 or 70.
I’m sad to say that we can’t use the proceeds from the sale of the 30,000 NBT - the BTC have already been traded to NBT.

Can somebody please craft a transaction?

Pinging @JordanLee as well. This situation needs immediate treatment.

edit:

Deposit of 50 BTC to the NBT exit gateway, signed by @masterOfDisaster (I took different inputs than in the NSR buyback tx). FLOT, please verify and sign.

We have locally onPoloniex BTC/NBT 10829.5076 sell 2938.5139 buy

total_buy":61834.7306,“total_sell”:78560.7188,

I do not think it is that serious, is it?

I see 40k buy reported by NuLagoon, 6k by NuPool, then some others for me, cybnate, and hitBTC. That’s about right I think. It’s spread throughout the network.

The serious things is something else.
13.9 BTC were on the “NBT entry gateway” exchange account and not yet withdrawn due to withdrawal limits (proceeds of NBT deposits from 2016-01-13 and 2016-01-13).
30,000 NBT were deposited at the gateway yesterday and traded for BTC during the BTC crash.

That’s the serious thing: I have used the proceeds (BTC) from the sell side gateway to put them on order. I dare say otherwise we could have said good-bye to the peg on Poloniex.
All of them are now NBT again (34,500 NBT).
No buffer left with that I could support the peg.

Plus: I once more used gateway funds that were meant for withdrawal to support the peg. I’m a kind of manual and time shifted dual side bot human intervenor when doing this with gateway funds.

I see. Based on your report, I would agree with you on the fact that we should replenish the buy side on Polo. 10k NBT worth of BTC is reasonable?

I’m on the fence.
The more funds on the exchange, the more risk. But too few funds on the exchange, the bigger danger for the peg.
What’s more dangerous: risk funds at an exchange, or risk the so far flawless track record regarding peg quality?
The tx I created deals with 50 BTC, which equals roughly 19,000 USD at the moment.

the 19k seems too be a bit too much since we have 10k in sell and 1.5k in buy in Polo but given the fact the btc may go up further, causing traders to revert back to btc, 19k is fine too me.

Would you consider signing the transaction then? The BTC multisig requires 5 signers to execute transactions. One (me) has signed it so far.

Yes. I was having trouble using my smartphone to sign it. iPhone cannot copy the info inside “Shareable verification link”. Doing it now on my desktop.

EDIT: @masterOfDisaster do u use Android?

@Dhume, @dysconnect, @jooize, @mhps, @ttutdxh, @woodstockmerkle please have a look at the liquidity and execute the tx!
