I support that.
The 4h avg for poloniex is 70 (!) NBT on the sell wall at the time of writing.

I have noticed that despite the overall network liquidity being reasonably balanced, Poloniex has been persistently very unbalanced for more than a week. This is where most of our volume occurs, so we need to change something to improve this. There is evidence it is impairing NBT sales.
It seems like the best approach might be to have NuLagoon more actively shifting funds from tier 3 to tier 1 (technically passing through tier 2) to accomplish this, with exchanges between NuLagoon’s tier 3 and network tier 4 funds as needed. @henry is promoting to Poloniex tier 1 from tier 3 as needed a possible and practical solution you would be willing to implement?
To address the problem in the moment I am negotiating an NBT trade with a Poloniex liquidity provider. This moves funds from tier 4 to tier 2 which probably isn’t ideal (funds should pass through tier 3).
I plan to take action to balance Poloniex when there is less than 25% on one wall as long as network wide liquidity is less than 50% on the same side.
In addition to moving 6511 NBT from tier 4 to Poloniex just now, 5024 NBT was also promoted to Poloniex from tier 4 about a day ago. Total proceeds were 35 BTC, which will be eligible for share buyback.
May be we could increase the proportion of Tier1 to Tier3. But that will impose more exchange default risk on NuLagoon.
By runing a version of NuBot, NuLagoon’s Tier 2 fund is also placed at order books and will fully automatically promoted to Tier1 when Tier1 is consumed.
Another question which may be off topic is that is current situation a real problem? After all, the network liquidity is almost balanced, and we don’t want to devolop a signle major Nubit exchange. People still can easily get NBT when they want from HitBTC or Bittrex.
It is good for NU to have a buy-sell wall (even a thin one) in every exchange.
now polo has a zero sell wall so we have to take care of it

According to Coinerella, the 15 minute sell wall at Poloniex is only 61 NBT.
The network wide sell walls are 45.3% of the total. Because the Poloniex sell wall is less than 25% of the liquidity at Poloniex and the network wide sell walls are less than 50%, funds will be moved from tier 4 to balance the network wide walls. 5725 NBT would balance it. @henry are you able to assist in bringing this much sell side liquidity to tier 1 at Poloniex?
i am also able to help with this
[quote=“Cybnate, post:565, topic:1239, full:true”]Or maybe also choose for some exchange risk without volatility risk and add more funds on NBT/USD pairs? Just spreading the risks across multiple pairs with different risk exposure sound appealing to me in context of potential short-term attacks.

This has also been part of my plea in my topic from a few weeks ago. I’ll make a new topic solely focused on proposing a future business model (a model I’d advocate when B&C go’s live) soon.
5725 NBT has been exchanged for 17.7776 BTC. The NBT is headed for the Poloniex exchange, while the 17.7776 BTC will be added to the share buyback/tier 4 buy side funds.
i guess they will last for 5 minutes
we have to increase the amount and the LP participants!
Even after the action taken an hour ago, Poloniex only has 15% of its liquidity on the sell side, while network wide liquidity is also low on the sell side. Is any community member interested in bringing NBT to the Poloniex wall in substantial quantity by purchasing it with BTC at a 0.998 rate from us? If so, please post here or PM us.
No one has stepped forward to assist with Poloniex since our last request and sell side liquidity there is still only about 15% of the total. It appears the price is not good enough to motivate someone with funds on the buy wall at Poloniex to flip their funds to the sell wall. Soon fixed cost liquidity should fix this, but for now we will lower the price to 0.996 per NBT to see if that provides enough incentive. Please post here or PM us to negotiate bringing NBT to market.
