Or make the spread adjustable. Not knowing the design behind ALix I don’t know how much effort that might be.
Would be great to have an upper and a lower limit.
That way you could track the status of ALP/MLP and gateways (as long as they operate outside the ALP or MLP spread) independently.

ALP/MLP: 0% < spread <= 1.5%
gateways: 1.5% < spread < x%
all liquidity: 0% < spread < x%

These two orders look like being placed by your NuBot:

They have an offset of roughly 5% (1/0.00215132=464; 464/442=1.049).
Something seems to be wrong with the price feed NuBots use.
@woolly_sammoth, @desrever any idea what’s wrong with the price feed? It looks like the BTC price used by NuBot is way off.

I fear there’s no consensus on x.
But as I wouldn’t hesitate to operate NuBot gateways at 2% offset (I already did!), I’d make it 4%. To have some room for increasing the offset, maybe you should make it 5%

My suggestion would be:
T1.1 <= 1.5%
T1.2 > 1.5% AND < 5%

buy offset is at 0.018 and sell at 0.014. I restarted nubot.
I just changed the mainfeed from blockchain to bitfinex.
I see problem in the buy wall price feed! I am increasing temporarily buy offset in order to get behind the ALP orders! (currently at 0.05)

With only 16% of total liquidity on the sell side, I will trade 30,000 shareholder NBT with NuLagoon Tube immediately. Poloniex remains heavy on the buy side.

Are you looking at the exchange or at ALix for polo? There is a pretty big discrepency between the two, the ask wall has about 20k and bid about 30k on exchange.

This order is not being credited by ALix. This is an issue, who is that order (nupool?) and what can they or ALix do to fix this? Price feeds? Tolerance?

Tolerance I think. Based on my guesses at the current price thresholds for ALix the order misses the 1.5 tolerance by less than 0.3%.

ALP buy side has some overweight.
This is by and large compensated by Nu funded bots.
Anyway it might soon be time to trade some NBT for BTC.

What do you think?
FLOT could trade, say 7,000 NBT to 15.x BTC at NuLagoon Tube.

Tube is balanced. Getting funds into the hands of nupool providers can be difficult. T3 custodians would work fine, but i havent had anybody come forward recently. Other options include having a gateway use a tighter spread than nupool on ask side in order to inject funds. Or we could hope NuLagoon figures out a method.

zoro’s gateway has about 9k NBT not on orders. By MoD’s summary the liquidity balance isn’t really in critical region. But FLOT’s buy side can use some BTC. It’s probably good to ask gate operators to put more NBT on orders
