BTC prices at different exchanges or in different USD tokens

So we could buy it. But we can’t hold it…

we have. but if you throw 18 in, 28 will come out in 10minutes. you need to fend off a wave of accumulated selling pressure to hold a peg. i guess that means 100btc or more. even flot has the monwy it’s better to do this when btc is fallling.

People need to think about the inevitable. A crash in bitcoin price.

PS: 85% of the buying comes from China because some people want to hedge against the devaluation of the Yuan compared to the US dollar.
Reminds me of when the Chinese gov started to impose drastic rules on bitcoin trading in Dec 2013 and then you know what happened next.

Chances are that more than 50% of the mining happens in China. So maybe China no longer has an incentive to crackdown? They control it anyway.

it s not much.

This is only what’s on the books.
You don’t know how many NBT get dumped if the price is going to be pumped by e.g. Nu buying NBT.

True but at the same time I believe not every nbt of the 700k outstanding or so nbt will get dumped .
In any case we should stick first to the standard and sell NSRs accordingly and see what happens I believe.

A bit off topic. Shouldn t we put a part of Nu s btc into NuSafe? Btc is dropping.

Hard to say. I am not against NuSafe but I guess the question is how much we want to put in nusafe – what is our short and mid-term expenditure plan?

Not sure about these statements. How do you know? Do you feel comfortable with it, I wouldn’t. Only T1 is visible on Poloniex. I have NBT on Poloniex which are not on the books, others might also be waiting. I will probably use them for the next NSR auction, many won’t.

We have no idea and every week NBT are being unparked.

You go to the order book and look at the sell side. Count how many nbt or btc there are in orders that are selling nbt below Nu price feed price. You need what i reported that many BTC to clear those sell orders (of that many NBT) , for a fraction of a second maybe before new under-cutting orders are placed, still you did it. You get the latest buy price to the 0% spread peg level. It’s a fact.
