B&C Exchange is hiring two full time C++ developers

I can help with recruitment, if needed. Any bounty or introduction fee possible?

As a profesional recruiter in IT and running a recruitment service dedicated to the blockchain industry in Japan, I can certainly help find a candidate.
A small financial incentive for referral (fee if success) would help a lot.
Would you interested in such a deal, @JordanLee ?

Yes.

We will pay 10% of whatever the developer makes in the first six months to anyone who introduces me to a developer we end up hiring as a consultant. I will ask all candidates how they heard about the job to ensure proper credit.

This applies to anyone who wants to help with recruitment (not just crypto_coiner).

Any official job description? in terms of hours per week and contents and pay?
I can provide super stars if the fee goes up or if that becomes more urgent, leveraging my large network and http://satoshiscollar.jp/

I would consider the original post to be an official job description. I added a sentence to the OP saying a candidate available for full time work is preferred, but part time candidates will be considered. Pay is $50 to $100 per hour, depending on experience.

Were there any additional details you were hoping to have clarified?

I posted it on r/cryptocurrency and will post it on Peercoin social media later…

I meant a typically formatted job description that we use in the recruiting industry:

  • duties
  • skill requirements
  • the plus
  • the typical workload per day/week/month (still unclear)
  • the probable compensation
  • the environment

I have made an adjustment to the job description, requiring that developers work full time on the project for four or five months. B&C Exchange needs that level of dedication and focus in order reach completion in a reasonable time period.

It also looks like you’re hiring two developers now instead of one.

Yes, that’s right. I have posted more details about the adjustment in our bitcointalk thread.

I tweeted this out here. Please retweet to help spread it…

You should ask Brian Armstrong from Coinbase, it looks like he knows more than 10,000 developpers capable of writing a Bitcoin full node from scratch: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4710xf/joi_ito_my_view_on_the_current_situation_of/d09hmc0

A mod for r/peercoin and r/cryptcurrency CapR reposted our updated ad on r/cryptocurrency for us…

@JordanLee, have you been reaching out to developers on Github as well? I know you mentioned possibly doing that a while back when we were looking for devs to hire before.

I cant help thinking about @creon when there is call for high quality developers. If I recall correctly he didn’t even get paid for his work on trust-less liquidity pools.
Wondering how far the development would have been if such a talented developer wasn’t alienated from this project.

@creon for sure had an immense skill and made very valuable contributions. I miss that part as well.
I don’t recall any official compensation for his efforts, either.

It could be there was not only this highly motivated, creative and skilled side.
There might have been some dark sides at working together with him, which haven’t been obvious to the whole community and under which only a few suffered, but those who did, did that quite badly.
