What is the main reason behind the extremely low NBT trade volume?

539 NBT over the last 24h in CMC: 31 NuBits NuBits $ 961,629 $ 0.991006 970,357 NBT * $ 539 -0.61 %

That is despite a decent liquidity:

buy side: 42k
sell side: 70k

The lack of liquidity cannot be the reason.

A guess:

The amount of parked NuBits which have never been this high.

So you imply that most of the NBT in circulation right now have been parked and therefore are frozen for a while and since Nu does not have yet enough visibility, the decent current liquidity is not reaching new adopters, which means that most of the potential volume is frozen in parking?

I am investigating, waiting to hear from custodians and in collaboration with CCEDK.

Here is a short chronology of what I can see from bots notifications broadcast to hipchat :

note: Time is expressed in server time:

A bot with the identifier [0.2.0b|1430232606683|a9274b] received a shift orders command at 11.12 PM

Shift needed on ccedk Reason : EUR price went up more than 0.1 % [0.2.0b|1430232606683|a9274b - BMA8dez5SoyVTUrBfWDpCTZEDNVbNTLTUG]

and subsequently placed the following orders at 11.12 PM

New BUY wall is up on ccedk : BUY side order : BUY 10444.8879 NBT @ 0.8938973 EUR
New BUY wall is up on ccedk : BUY side order : BUY 10445.7794 NBT @ 0.8938973 EUR 	
New SELL wall is up on ccedk : SELL side order : SELL 2224.4218 NBT @ 0.89837799 EUR 
New SELL wall is up on ccedk : SELL side order : SELL 2224.4218 NBT @ 0.89837799 EUR

Then, this bot has been shut down (likely manually) around 1.30 AM

Two minutes (1:32 AM) later a new bot came online with id [0.2.0b|1430962367677|f4ab78 - BMA8dez5SoyVTUrBfWDpCTZEDNVbNTLTUG] (which makes me think it was a machine restart) :

A new dual-side bot just came online on ccedk pair (nbt_eur)

and placed the new walls (at the same prices as before and in the same amounts more or less, so no or little trading has happened between 11.12 PM and 1.32 AM)

Those very same orders are still up now, at the time of this writing in that very same amounts of 10 hours ago. So according to my intuition, no trades happened in the last 10 hours involving our bot .

However the transaction list at the bottom https://www.ccedk.com/nbt-eur shows trades happening at 1.10 AM . And on the very same page, in turn, the charts says something different (try to switch from 12h to 1 day, it does’t make sense to me). Looking forward now to hearing from other parties.

This is all I can say now as an outsider, I must wait for the custodian looking at her “trade history”.
