Running Nu qt behind Tor

Is there any easy step by step way to run Nu qt behind Tor on Mac and PC via the proxy option?
That applies also to B&C exchange.
I think it is good to get prepared for becoming a reputed signer running both clients behind Tor as mentioned here by JL.
It seems that the documentation to run bitcoin qt behind Tor is old (back to 2013). Therefore I am not sure if it is up to date.

For those who value privacy, you can reliably run the Nu client over Tor by running the Tor Browser Bundle and configuring the Nu client by selecting Settings…Options. On the Main tab, check "Connect through SOCKS4 proxy". Set the Proxy IP to 127.0.0.1 and the Port to 9150. If you don't run the Tor Browser Bundle or other Tor software, the Nu client will not connect.
