I think that “is disrupting” is a bit sensationalistic.

Blockchain technologies, especially 2.0, have the potential to replace part of the old IT legacy infrastructure. At the moment it is still all a prototype for geeks and only recently for some buzzword-driven institutions with fear of being left behind.
